Brought to a backyard by his feral father, he navigated high fences and outdoor dangers as a kitten. After losing his family, he bravely trusted a human and moved indoors — the best decision he ever made! At first glance he’s a classic tuxedo, but in the sunlight his coat reveals hidden bronze tabby stripes. He’s truly one-of-a-kind! Merlin is sweet, social, and talkative — a real “meower” who loves telling you about his day. He’s easy to handle, craves human connection, and turns into a professional purr-machine during brushing sessions . He’s an excellent roommate too: he confidently shares space (and the water bowl) with a 60 lb Goldendoodle and gets along great with other cats. Because he missed his brother after rescue, Merlin would thrive in a home with another friendly cat or a gentle dog for companionship and play.
