Onyx is a pretty jet black domestic short hair female. This lady is 3 1/2 years old and has a gleaming ebony coat, a white spot on her bib, and one white claw on her left rear paw. Hence her nickname White Claw. She is initially a bit timid, but readily warms up and loves attention. Onyx was found off cape as a stray, along with her mother and siblings, sometime last year. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, microchipped, and has been given a clear bill of health from her vets. She does have a chronic watery eye due to an old corneal scar. This causes her eye to water, but the vets do not consider it a serious issue. If Onyx sounds like a good match for your family, why not come in to make her acquaintance? To meet Mandy at PFC you must have an application on file with us and been pre-approved to adopt a cat. Our adoption hours are intended for pre-approved adopters. An application for pre-approval to adopt can be picked up at the shelter during adoption hours or sent by email to be filled out and brought in. Once you have been pre-approved, you are welcome to come to the shelter during adoption hours to be shown the cats.
