Momma spent more than six years surviving as a stray, fending for herself and her puppies, before finally finding a safe place thanks to some determined neighbors who became her fosters. She raised her last litter, Poe and Ty, in abandoned buildings and gradually learned to trust people who spoke softly to her and refused to give up. The day her puppies ventured into her fosters' yard, Momma courageously followed, marking the start of her new life. She's now settled, no longer worried about her next meal, enjoying the comfort of a dog bed or a sunny spot outdoors. Despite her tough past, Momma is gentle and easygoing. She adapts quickly, gets along with new people and dogs, and even babysat her foster's grandson without skipping a beat.
