Meet Hina! This gorgeous girl is a 4-year-old Akita who's fully grown at 70 lbs. She is very friendly and well-behaved! Hina does pull on the leash still, but she is usually mellow, rides great in the car, and does AMAZING with young children :) She previously lived with kids of all ages, as well as 3 cats and 2 large dogs. Hina typically left the cats alone, but would chase them if they ran. She did get along well with the other dogs, although her owners think she may do better with male dogs than females. If you already have a resident dog, we offer dog-to-dog introductions at KHS to ensure it's a good fit before adopting! Hina is house-trained!! She does need at least a 6-foot-tall fence, as she can escape from shorter fences. She's an active and social girl whose favorite things are cuddles, playtime, and going with you on errands!
