Clayton is a friendly, people-loving dog who gets along well with other dogs and is eager to play, though he may bark when unsure of new situations. He has a history of chasing cats but is improving with guidance and now responds to corrections, often disengaging when redirected. Clayton is crate trained, possibly deaf (responds to hand signals), and while his hearing cannot be confirmed in the shelter, he has adjusted well to routines and shows no fear of humans.
