About Fernsweet Ginger Gorl

Fernsweet Ginger Gorl, often called Fern, is a nine-year-old female ginger cat with a gorgeous fluffy tail and striking orange-and-white tabby markings. Fern thrives on attention and loves to be petted, but she isn’t a fan of being picked up—she prefers to settle in next to you or on your lap for cuddles on her own terms. She enjoys interactive play, especially chasing string toys or simple fake mice, but hasn't shown much interest in other types of toys. Her personality is very social, and she likes to be part of the household’s activity, making her a nice fit for families or homes with another cat companion for company. Fern is fully spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She has lived as both indoor and indoor-outdoor, but previous advice suggests she could easily settle into an indoor-only life with gentle guidance. Fern is house trained but dislikes being alone for long stretches—if left unattended, especially overnight, she may stop using the litter box, so frequent company or another friendly cat is recommended. Fern is currently located in Port Orange, FL. Her adopter should provide daily wet food, as it’s key for her long-term health (especially for hydration and kidney protection), and she brings along her beloved mango cardboard box and favorite toys. She also gets along well with other cats and children. Click apply to start the adoption process.
