Hello Rescue fans, Change A Life Dog Rescue was approached about taking a dog from an overcrowded shelter. We were told that the dog was brought in by Animal Control because someone heard him barking in an abandoned house. The dog was brought to the shelter and assessed by the Vet. He is about 7 yrs old, 60lbs, dog friendly (we do not know about cats), Heartworm negative, appears to be housebroken, is great on a leash and very chill/mild mannered. The dogs name is Varsity- he is a GOLDEN RETRIEVER MIX- not “Golden” enough for a Golden Retriever Rescue, but we thought that there is someone out there that would like to make a difference in the life of a Senior Golden mix. Varsity is scheduled to be neutered and vaccinated in a few days and can come to CT the first weekend in May. WHO CAN FOSTER VARSITY? If you are interested in Adopting him you could Foster to Adopt.
