Once a deeply loved companion, Maggie’s life took an unexpected turn when her person faced serious health challenges and had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go so she could find the happy future she deserves. She has adjusted beautifully in foster care and is more than ready to find her forever home. She has a wonderful, balanced energy—always up for a good romp in the yard or a sniff-filled adventure around the neighborhood, then happy to settle in for some cozy snuggle time. True to her hound nature, Maggie loves to explore and follow her nose, and she’s even got an adorable howl to prove it! She’s house trained, food motivated, and working on her crate skills. Maggie gets along well with other dogs and does best with older kids who can match her friendly enthusiasm. On leash, she may pull a bit—but only because she’s eager to say hello to everyone she meets. Maggie is full of love, life, and loyalty, and she’s just waiting for a family to share it all with!
