About Maggie
Maggie makes a lasting impression right away—her signature nubby tail beating a fast rhythm and her presence felt from across the yard. She comes from a deeply loved home but found herself searching for new stability after her person’s health crisis. In foster care, Maggie’s adjusted quickly, learning routines and showing plenty of warmth. She thrives on active play, sniffing through the neighborhood on an adventurous walk, or stretching her legs in the yard. True to her hound/Brittany mix roots, Maggie loves to put her nose to work and punctuates the day with the occasional charming howl. After exploring, she enjoys curling up for a soft, affectionate nap. She’s house trained, food motivated, lively, and gradually improving her crate skills. Maggie welcomes other dogs and gets along with older kids who can appreciate her enthusiasm. She’s a bit of a leash puller at first, eager as ever to greet anyone who crosses her path. Maggie offers loyalty, joy, and genuine affection—ready for her next family to experience it firsthand. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
