Sweet McKenna has been described as “the perfect dog” by more than one of our foster and Dog Day Out volunteers, and we agree! Shy at first, she quickly warms into a bubbly, affectionate companion who walks well on leash, is housebroken, rides well in the car and is kid-friendly, even with very young ones. Stuffies are her favorite toys but she also enjoys a good game of tug. Given very slow and managed introductions, she might do well with a mellow dog companion. It’s hard to believe someone would abandon her, but we know it won’t be long before someone snaps up this gem of a dog and takes her home for good!
