Meet Chip Chip came to us as a stray, and it's clear he hasn't had an easy road. At just 43 lbs, he's underweight and in need of some extra care, good meals, and a soft place to land. Despite that, Chip has remained incredibly sweet and people-oriented. He seeks out human connection right away, happily staying close and soaking up attention. Sit down, and he'll gently place his front paws in your lap, looking for comfort and closeness. It's hard to miss how much he just wants to feel safe and cared for. Chip has a playful side too-he enjoys toys and will engage, but he's not over-the-top and settles nicely after some fun. He walks well on leash and allows full handling, making him a great candidate for someone willing to help him rebuild and thrive. Chip is looking for an adult-only home with an experienced adopter who understands dog behavior and can provide the structure and support he needs as he continues to decompress. We are still getting to know his preferences with other dogs. This boy doesn't need perfection-he needs patience, nourishment, and someone willing to give him the TLC he's been missing.
