About Griffin
Griffin needs someone patient, someone who understands what it means to help a shy rescue dog find his footing. He was just 10 months old when his world flipped upside down—losing his home after his owner moved into hospice. As a result, Griffin gets nervous easily and stays on guard, but with kindness and consistency he could slowly build confidence. He’s now 11 months old and weighs about 27 lbs. Griffin does get along with other dogs, but how he is with cats or children isn’t known yet. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and comes with some helpful extras for peace of mind: 6 months of heartworm preventatives, his microchip registration, and a safety harness. Foster or adopt Griffin if you want to make a quiet difference. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Griffin
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Griffin’s Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer background means he often does well in homes where he has people around for companionship. Both breeds can adapt to apartments or houses with secure yards, as long as they get enough attention and structure.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A small or medium-sized yard is ideal for a Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer mix like Griffin, though daily walks and outdoor playtime are just as important if yard space is limited.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Scottish Terriers and Schnauzers are often good with children if socialized early, but since Griffin is shy and still settling, he might do best in calmer households or with older kids who are gentle and patient.
