Dede is a 7 year old, 14lb bundle of sunshine and all things good in a dog! She is quite possibly the most friendly pup we've ever had here! Dede came from a very high intake shelter. She looks to have mothered several litters in her lifetime and we promised she'd never have to be pregnant again! She loves other dogs, cats and people! She also loves toys and is often seen trying to find the perfect spot to bury them! Approved applications required to adopt! *If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE. 1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen. Please DO NOT CALL the rescue unless you have been specifically given the phone number by one of the staff. 2.) You will be notified by the adoption coordinator if your application is approved. This will happen very quickly, usually the same or next day. (unless you apply on a weekend and vet records can not be verified in which case it will be the next day the vet is open.) If you do not hear from us, you were not approved. There will be no explanation or argument. 3.) Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation. DO NOT show up expecting to “see the dogs”. We are not a municipal shelter- we are a rescue. 4.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up. 5.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet. 6.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead- not a harness, Not a flat collar and leash but a SLIP LEAD that does not need to be fitted and is the only approved method of safe restraint for fearful and flight risk dogs. 7.)
