Marigold is a 14-year-old spry and playful cat looking for her forever home! She enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and spends much of her day napping in cozy spots around the house. Do not let her age fool you though, she is always ready to play at a moment's notice. Her favorite toy is a little fish on a string, and she can chase and pounce on it for surprisingly long stretches of time. She also loves being brushed and will happily accept gentle belly rubs. Marigold's energy level is mostly low, but she has bursts of playful excitement where she gets the zoomies and dashes around or engages with her toys. These moments are always fun to watch and show off her lively spirit. She is currently living on the upper floor of a duplex with three people and has been comfortable in that environment. Her ideal home would be a calm and open space where she can move around easily. A single level home or apartment would be especially helpful for her comfort as she gets older. She is very low maintenance overall, but she would benefit from a family who can spend a little time playing with her during her energetic moments. Marigold does have some arthritis, although it does not seem to slow her down right now. It may be worth considering pain management options in the future if it begins to affect her mobility.
