My name, Marty, is another one of those names derived from the word, Mars. So, if a Martian landed on earth and asked me what kind of creature I am, I would reply, “A cat.” Would he say, “Take me to your ‘litter’”? You are allowed to groan at that. But don’t groan at me! I’m just a kitten whose person released me, my sister Mallory, brother Mikey, and mama Macy to Paws and Claws because she could not afford to keep us any longer. We were nervous, but not for long. People are very nice to us, and once we felt comfortable, we became our usual friendly selves. We love petting, and we all like to play.
