Meet Skye. Skye is a stunning black-and-white female Husky with piercing pale blue eyes and a gentle, well-mannered personality that’s impossible to resist. Estimated to be 3 years old and weighing 50+ pounds, Skye came to us as a stray—but she carries herself like she’s always known she was something special. True to her Husky roots, Skye loves to run and explore in our fenced-in play areas and isn’t shy about sharing her adorable "Husky song" with anyone who will listen. She has a medium energy level and walks beautifully on leash—graceful, attentive, and confident by your side. Skye would thrive in an active home where she can stretch her legs, enjoy playtime, and be part of the fun. We believe she may do well with other dogs, though a meet-and-greet is required if you have a resident pup. Her compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown. At the shelter, Skye keeps her kennel nice and tidy and has proven herself to be quite the little lady. She is currently part of our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can welcome her into your home while she completes her vetting—including spay, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing.
