About Taco
Meet Taco. Taco is a senior Chihuahua, weighing just 6.5 pounds, but his heart is much bigger than his size suggests. He adores everyone he meets—even if he puts on a tough "guard dog" act at the fence. Once you’re up close, his nonstop tail wags and sweet personality give him away. Taco loves handing out puppy kisses, even though his youthful days are behind him. Because he’s a tiny older gentleman, very young children are not recommended, as they might unintentionally injure him. Older kids familiar with small dogs would be a better fit. Taco gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, showcasing a gentle and social nature. He would love to head to his forever home alongside his brother, Budda. The two came into the rescue after losing their beloved mom. There’s still so much love left in this little old man. Taco would be happiest curled up in someone’s lap, enjoying affection and companionship. If you're seeking a devoted lap buddy—or two—Taco is ready to fill your home with love. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped with lifetime registration. Adoption fee: $500 (if adopted with Budda, both for $650). What are you waiting for?
