Meet Taco. Taco is a senior Chihuahua who weighs just 6.5 pounds, but he has a heart that's much bigger than his size. He adores everyone he meets, despite putting on a tough "guard dog" act when spotting people through the fence. Once you’re up close, his nonstop tail wags and sweet personality give him away. Taco loves sharing puppy kisses, even though his youthful days are behind him. Because he is a tiny little old man, very young children aren’t recommended as he can be easily injured unintentionally. Older kids who are familiar with small dogs would be a better fit. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, displaying a gentle, social nature. Taco would particularly love to find his forever home with his brother, Budda, if you’re open to adopting a pair. The two came into the rescue’s care after their beloved mom passed away. There’s so much love left in this little old man. Taco would be happiest curled up in someone’s lap, soaking up affection and companionship.
