She already knows the house rules, and she still has that fun puppy side: she enjoys toys, is playful with other dogs, and doesn’t pay any attention to the cats in her foster home. She can be a little shy at first in a new place and may need a few days to settle in and feel comfortable. We think a suburban home would be the best fit for her, since she doesn’t have experience living in the city. Layla is very smart, picks things up quickly, and will be very attached and loyal to her person. Layla is a rescue dog from Georgia (the country). She was found with her mom and brother when the puppies were about a month old. We believe their mom was once someone’s pet, was not spayed, and was abandoned after having puppies. Her mom was adopted in NJ a few months ago and is now very loved in her new home. Now it’s Layla’s turn to find her forever home.
