Introducing this precious girl named Venus! She was brought to the shelter on 4/17 because her former pet parent felt they were never home enough to give her the attention and time she deserved and needed. So she is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep her safe and sound so she doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Venus is only 3 years and 6 months old and weighs a mere 46lbs. The volunteers describe her as a nice girl who is pretty in person very cute, sweet, and so smart! She a tad shy but once you start spending time with her, she slowly opens up to you. So please be patient with her as she tries to figure things out. This is probably the only family she has ever known. She is a smart young lady and can understand simple commands such as sit when as asked and she may know more. She would be a wonderful student if you would take the time to teach her everything she doesn't know already. The good news is she is house trained, good with kids, and dog and cat friendly. The perfect package! Please take some time and visit with her in Run 879; her ID is 18324. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, devotion, patience, love and lifestyle to ensure Venus has the best upbringing possible. They are lifetime commitments. Period. She rather be at home waiting on you every day than waiting in a loud, overcrowded shelter wondering when she will be apart of a family and when she will be loved again. Venus is current on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Venus is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. She needs you now more than ever! Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
