Meet Rueben, a dapper little gentleman in a classic black-and-white tuxedo! This handsome kitten may look like he's ready for a formal event, but don't be fooled because he's all about playtime, cuddles and curious adventures. Rueben came to us mid-March from an overcrowded shelter that needed space, arriving alongside his adorable siblings Fry, Burger, Milkshake, and Pie. While he's perfectly happy to be adopted on his own, we always like to mention when littermates are available in case you're considering bringing home a dynamic duo and two kittens can keep each other entertained and grow up with a built-in best friend. Like most kittens, Rueben is full of energy and wonder. His days are likely to include chasing toys, pouncing on imaginary prey, exploring every nook and cranny and then suddenly crashing into a cozy nap. Kittens thrive on interactive play, so expect to spend time each day engaging him with wand toys, balls, or anything he can bat and chase. This playtime isn't just fun. It helps him build confidence and burn off all that kitten energy. Rueben will also need the basics of kitten care: a nutritious kitten-specific diet to support his growth, regular litter box maintenance, scratching posts to keep his claws healthy, and routine veterinary care as he grows. Socialization is key at this age, so gentle handling, new experiences and lots of positive interaction will help him grow into a well-adjusted adult cat.
