About Mango

Mango is a beautiful one-and-a-half-year-old Egyptian kitty with a BIG personality to match her bright orange coat. She's full of life, a little bit wild, and 100% unforgettable. Playful doesn't even begin to describe her—Mango loves to run, jump, chase, and turn just about anything into a game. She's what you might call delightfully “crazy” in the best way possible. If you've ever had a soft spot for spirited orange cats, she's exactly your type. Mango gets along with others, but she truly shines in a home that can match her energy. She would do best with an active person or family who enjoys interactive play and doesn't mind a little chaos and a lot of laughter. If you're looking for a calm, quiet lap cat... Mango is not that girl. But if you want a fun, energetic companion who will keep you entertained every single day, she might just be your perfect match. Ready to add some excitement (and a little mischief) to your life? Mango is waiting for you All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Potential adopters for our Persian cats need to have prior Persian cat experience as they need to be well cared for. Grooming, dental, and veterinarian exams are done once a year, and a good quality brand of cat food such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, or Purina Pro plan is the upper tier level with a black label. We are a rescue and get what we get in terms of cats in need of a home. In no way do we work with breeders or buy the cats from the Friday markets so we can put them up for adoption as a rescue. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application. NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten.
