About Poptart

Meet Poptart, a kitten with a resilient spirit and her own one-of-a-kind story. After being turned away from a larger rescue due to suspected neurological issues, Poptart was welcomed in and given a chance to thrive. Tests revealed she had toxoplasmosis, which was treated. While she remains a bit wobbly and walks with an unsteady gait—likely a result of lasting neurological differences—she continues to flourish in a caring environment. Poptart does not currently use the litter box, possibly because of neurological challenges, and will need an adopter who’s patient and open to creative solutions that give her the best shot at success. She’s looking for someone who can offer structure, stability, and plenty of gentle understanding. Underneath her challenges, Poptart is strikingly sweet and affectionate. She has that soft, loving personality that leaves an impression and she soaks up attention from those around her. Poptart doesn’t let her differences slow her down or stop her from enjoying life. Her ideal match is someone who sees her unique spark and wants to offer her the safe, loving home she truly needs. Fun fact: Born August 4th, Poptart is a Leo—full of quiet courage and heart.
