Hondo is the sweetest little kitten you'll ever meet, with a heart just as big as his personality. This resilient boy came to us from our southern shelter partners as an urgent case due to a severely swollen eye. When he arrived, we were shocked to see that his eye was filled with fluid and his eyelids were sealed shut. We rushed him to the vet, where it was determined that the eye was unfortunately not viable and needed to be removed. Despite everything he's been through, Hondo has remained completely unphased by his bumpy start to life. His resilience and gentle spirit have stolen all of our hearts, and we are so in love with this snuggly little boy. Hondo is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he's as close to you as possible. He loves being held, will happily wrap himself around your neck, and perch on your shoulder to keep you company wherever you go. When he's not soaking up cuddles, he's a playful, curious kitten who would love to have some kitty friends to wrestle and explore with.
