About Bunny
Bunny arrived at the rescue after surviving severe injuries on the streets of Chicago in November 2024. She underwent pelvis surgery and a tail amputation, enduring a long recovery with incredible determination. Now, fully healed and in good spirits, Bunny is ready to settle into a real home. She is affectionate, curious, and adventurous—almost dog-like in her eagerness to come when called and her love of being part of daily life. Because of her injury, Bunny does have occasional urinary leakage, but she is great about using the litter box for everything else and doesn’t need any extra care. She handles everything with resilience and a forgiving heart, never letting her past hardships dim her playful, affectionate side. Bunny is especially good with children and thrives when she’s included in family activities. Her adoption fee is already covered by Felines of Chicago, so you can focus on welcoming her into your life.
