Hi, I'm Pokey. I may be a kitten sized adult, but I have a big heart once you get to know me. I can be a little shy at first and it takes me some time to warm up to new people, but with patience and kindness, I will become your loyal little shadow.<br/><br/>I have a great mix of playful and relaxed energy. I love lounging on top of the couch and stretching out in sunny spots, but I also enjoy playtime, especially with my wand toy. I like to catch the tail and drag it away, then bring it back when I am ready to play again. Churu treats are one of my favorites, and I am always happy to come say hello with a gentle nose to nose tap.<br/><br/>I prefer to be in whatever room you are in, and once I feel comfortable, I will happily curl up in your lap, make biscuits, and look up at you with my big, adoring eyes. I come to you for pets throughout the day and really enjoy affection on my terms.<br/><br/>Loud noises like vacuums and things like closed doors are not my favorite, and I will usually find a quiet place to hide when things get overwhelming. I have not spent time around other animals yet, so I would do best in a quieter home with someone who can gently and patiently give me time to feel safe.
