About Oz
Oz is a big, happy guy who brings smiles to everyone around him. He’s been with the rescue since April after arriving as a stray, so his full medical and behavioral history isn’t known. Lately, Oz has developed some neurological issues—he stumbles and has a slight head tilt—but tests haven’t pinpointed a cause. He’s on daily medications and is kept comfortable, but he does require ongoing management and possibly more treatment down the road. For these reasons, Oz is available only as a foster, either temporarily or permanently, so his health can be closely monitored and his medication regimen maintained. Oz might coexist with a calmer dog, but that will take a proper introduction. Homes with cats are not a good match for him. He’ll do best in a place where someone is patient, observant, and willing to keep up with his care. Did you know Oz is an Aries? True to his sign, he meets every moment with cheerfulness and a strong spirit. Ready to meet this sweet, resilient boy? Adoption isn’t an option right now, but foster applications are open.
