Meet Sirius! Don’t let his name fool you, he is a silly as they come. This gentle house panther is so sweet. When he first came to the rescue he was shy and a bit scared. But boy has he blossomed. Sirius wants to be a lap cat. If given the chance he will gladly come and sit with you or hang out over your shoulder. This handsome boy loves to purr while you give him pets on his super soft coat. Sirius would do well with other cats or as an only fur child. Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive. All of our cats and kittens are rescued, most locally, or surrendered to us by their previous owners, and they are eager to go to their permanent homes! All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention. We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders. Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
