Meet Thea! Thea is an absolutely gorgeous puppy with the softest, whitest fur. Thea is approximately 4.5 months old, and she already weighs ~50 lbs! We can assume she will grow into a large to extra-large sized dog! For now, however, Thea is basically an oversized puppy. She loves to play with toys, loves mealtimes, is working hard to learn an outside potty routine and schedule, enjoys snuggles and affection, and is growing more confident everyday! Confidence is an important word for Thea. She has spent most of her short little life being given the bare minimum. She was housed and fed, but not much else. Nobody played with her or taught her how to be a puppy or showed her anything outside of a small corner of a bathroom! Because of this, she's a bit more shy and timid with new people, places, and experiences. Thea will take time to warm up. But her fosters want to emphasize how much love and sweetness and loyalty she offers when she feels safe and at ease! Thea loves the company of humans she trusts, she is respectful of other dogs AND cats in her foster home! Thea might overwhelm and by overwhelmed by smaller children, but she would enjoy the company of older kids who can respect her space and initial shyness. Thea is working on her leash walking skills, knows how to "sit", is comfortable being crated at home and while riding in a car, and is making big progress in potty training! Thea wants someone who can show her all that life has to offer at a pace that makes her feel safe! She is so wonderful - intelligent, stunningly gorgeous, affectionate, and wonderfully loyal!
