Luna is a sweet terrier mix who was surrendered through no fault of her own and is now ready for a fresh start with a loving family. This 14 lb girl is the perfect balance of active and easygoing. Luna loves going on walking adventures and would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys staying active. After a day out, she’s just as happy relaxing by your side—she truly just wants to be near her people. Luna is crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy addition to the home. She will often go into her crate on her own to relax. She is also spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm and Lyme tested, microchipped, and dewormed—ready to go home! She is dog-friendly with dogs closer to her size (no large dogs) but is not cat-friendly, so a cat-free home is required. Luna is currently enrolled in our rescue’s training program and is already learning commands like place, sit, and down, giving her future family a great foundation to build on. She would do best with an active individual or family looking for a loyal walking partner and loving companion. Luna is available for a foster-to-adopt home or a committed adopter.
