Goose is a 3 year old, endlessly affectionate cat looking for his forever home! Goose has a big personality packed into an adorably small frame. True to his orange-cat reputation, Goose is equal parts goofy, affectionate, and just a little bit chaotic all in the most lovable way possible! There's a saying that all orange cats share one brain cell, and Goose lives up to that charm -- he uses it almost exclusively to figure out how to get closer to you. Goose is a total lovebug! He will happily follow you from room to room, chatting the entire time like he has very important updates to share. Personal space? Goose has never heard of it. Sit down for even a second and he'll be in your lap before you know it -- purring, rubbing his face all over you, and just soaking up every bit of affection he can get. He loves everyone immediately, no warm-up period required! New people are just new friends to love on, and he'll greet them with the same enthusiasm he shows to his favorite humans. Goose is playful and a little mischievous. He has a curious streak and especially enjoys investigating (and occasionally chewing) plants and cords, so he'll do best in a home that can accompany him on his adventures and keep an eye on him. He likes playing with humans (especially with wand toys) and any other cats around but is happy to keep himself busy when no one else is around. Goose has a medium energy level -- he is often following his people around, playing, and talking, but he rarely has the zoomies without cause. Once he has worn himself out it is time for a nap, ideally on your lap or on top of another cat. Goose currently lives in an apartment with 2 adults and another male cat around the same age as him. He gets along great with everyone and wants as much attention and interaction that he can squeeze out of them. Goose would thrive in a busy, loving home -- especially one with multiple people or other cats -- so that he can soak up all the attention he craves. Goose is very easygoing and gentle, making him a wonderful fit for busy families with children who want a snuggly, interactive companion. He loves having a cat friend around as well to trade-off grooming and chasing each other around.
