About Ida
Ida is a survivor who’s been through more than most cats her age. Originally adopted as a kitten, she landed back at the rescue after a decade—terribly neglected and malnourished. Luckily, she’s found some moments of comfort in foster care, but the stress of so much upheaval shows. Now in her senior years, Ida does best in a calm home where things stay quiet and predictable. She gets along with kids, but she isn’t friendly with other cats or dogs, so she needs to be the only animal in the household. Ida has been deaf for a while, but don’t let that fool you—she’s responsive to hand signals and quite vocal when she wants to be heard. She comes microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and brings all her essentials to help her settle in. If you’re curious, fostering is an option—see how you and Ida connect.
