I'm full of energy, curiosity, and sass-basically a textbook Dachshund! I love playing fetch, getting new toys, and zooming around with my dog (and even cat!) friends. I'm a happy, playful girl who just wants to be involved in everything you're doing. I'll be honest... I can be a little wild sometimes. I might steal your socks, redecorate with paper towels, or investigate the trash if I get bored. But it's all part of my big personality-and with structure and routine, I settle in really well and love following the rules once I understand them. I'm crate trained and working on things like leash walking and potty training (I'm about 75% there!). I can get a little nervous on leash and I'm still learning boundaries, so I'll need a patient family who can guide me and help me grow. My ideal home: An active family who will keep me busy and engaged A home with other pets (dogs or even playful, dog-friendly cats!) Someone who is home often-I don't like being alone much A family who understands Dachshunds and will give me structure and consistency A home where I can be the center of attention (I deserve it ) I do have a big attachment to my person, so I wouldn't do well in a home where I'm left alone for long hours.
