Meet Silverton! This girl was found living in a colony on the Silverton casino property when she was a kitten and was taken in by the municipal shelter of Henderson. Shortly after being brought into the shelter, she was diagnosed with severe gingivitis that resulted in several of her teeth being removed. After getting her extractions done, our partner rescue Best Friends Utah took her in for a few weeks before she made her trip back to Vegas! During her time here, we discovered she has chronic dry eyes and requires a twice daily eye ointment (cyclosporine) that is estimated to cost ~$70/month. She's now looking for her forever home. This social girl LOVES pets and kicking back on the couch when she's not in the middle of your lap- or laying on your keyboard. This girl loves to shadow the people she loves most, every chore should include a Silverton! During her time here, we also discovered she enjoys being held like a baby- but don't tell her we told you! While she still loves her pets, she can get a little overstimulated easily and can be a bit selective with the cats she picks to be friends with. She would benefit best from a low activity home and is very good at telling you when she's done with you.
