About Reuben
Meet Reuben, a 4-year-old boxer-terrier mix who left his stray days in Makiki behind and is ready for a new chapter with a loving family. Reuben has a ton of playful energy and can entertain himself for hours with hard toys—tossing, carrying, or chewing, he keeps busy and brings real joy to everyone watching. He's also a beach enthusiast and would love to tag along for any sandy adventure, whether that's splashing in the waves or taking a leisurely walk along the shore. Hiking and exploring with his people make his day, but mostly, Reuben just wants to be included and spend quality time with those he cares about. His brindle coat glows in the sunlight, and that classic boxer face is sure to win you over in person. Beneath the energy is a loyal, sweet dog eager to bond closely and be someone’s lifelong friend and adventure partner. His adoption fee is fully sponsored through the Reid Krucky fund, plus he’ll head home with a goody bag to get you started. Come by the Mo'ili'ili campus in Honolulu to see if Reuben is the right fit for your ohana. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
