Demi is the kind of cat who knows what she likes, and she’s not shy about it. She enjoys affection on her terms and will happily come to you when she’s in the mood for love. While she isn’t a fan of being smothered with attention, her independent spirit is part of what makes her so special. She values her space, but she’s still a friendly and social girl who enjoys being around people—just in her own way. Demi has a gentle, easygoing presence and would thrive in a home that respects her boundaries and appreciates a more self-sufficient companion. She’s not one for constant cuddles, but when she chooses to spend time with you, it feels earned and genuine. And like many cats, Demi has one very firm boundary: she’s not a fan of vet visits or vaccinations (can you blame her?). We think Demi would do wonderfully as an indoor/outdoor cat or even as a porch companion, where she can enjoy the fresh air and come and go as she pleases while still having a safe place to call home.
