Meet MELODY! She is 7.8 lbs and 2 years old. She’s a petite and delicate little cat! Melody lives up to her name and is a very affectionate, gentle, and calm cat! Her personality is like a soothing song. She is the matriarch of the “instrument” litter (all kittens have been adopted but Cello!) Melody enjoys being around people and is an interactive cat. She will often look at her foster mom and meow, asking for attention or food. Sometimes her mom isn’t sure which one it is in the moment but plays some guessing games and it’s always very cute! She allows handling from people (even new people she’s never met before) without any issue and is very trusting! While she hasn’t been around young children before, we think she would be fine as long as the child is respectful (like with any animal). Melody also does very well around dogs! She tolerates their presence and respects their space. She isn’t a “scardy cat” (haha!). She has a low energy level and doesn’t demand much beyond affection and food. She enjoys playing and seems to like the simple toys she’s given, like a small ball. She’s a sweet and simply gal. Melody is litter box trained and uses it consistently! Melody is truly a very nurturing cat and has been an excellent mother, remaining patient and caring with her kittens even as they’ve grown. She deserves the best home!
