Bobo
AvailableAbout Bobo
Bobo is a dog who was found to have a fracture of both the distal radius and ulna, a painful orthopedic injury that significantly affects limb function and stability. These types of fractures typically require specialized orthopedic evaluation, possible surgical repair, and strict activity restriction to ensure proper healing and long-term function. The level of care, monitoring, and potential surgical intervention needed exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite his injury, Bobo remains gentle and is doing his best while receiving supportive care. Bobo needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive continued veterinary evaluation, treatment, and recovery support to improve comfort and mobility. This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide. If you are interested in helping, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information so we can call you back.
