Peppercorn got his name because he was rescued as a tiny black nugget, found outside with his mother on a cold, rainy day last fall. Bottle-fed and raised from infancy, he’s grown into a playful, confident kitten with a big personality and heart. This little guy is a true purrmonster—he loves to snuggle, especially right up by your face in bed, where he’ll happily purr himself (and you) to sleep. He greets everyone like a friend, offering sweet face rubs to anyone who’ll accept them. Peppercorn is curious and is always finding ways to amuse himself and his humans. He “ponders life” by staring into his water fountain, squeezes into cozy nooks, and has a habit of flipping upside down to study the world from a new angle. Playtime is one of his favorite things! He loves toys (especially ball tracks and anything he can chase), and he’s fascinated by birds and squirrels outside the window—he can barely contain himself watching them. He plays great with other cats, taking turns and keeping things fair. Peppercorn is also very food-motivated—he loves his meals, enjoys having his own bowl, and will go absolutely wild for Churu treats. He gets along well with other kitties and would enjoy a playful companion, but because he’s so people-oriented, he could also thrive as a solo cat soaking up all the love and attention.
