AvailableAbout Basboosa
Meet Basboosa — Sweet as Her Name Basboosa is a 6-month-old little survivor with a heart full of love. Once abandoned and left out on the street, she's already overcome more than most kittens her age ever should. Thankfully, a kind neighbor brought her into the safety of a building stairwell, where she's been waiting patiently for something better — a real home. Just like the dessert she's named after, Basboosa is incredibly sweet. If you've ever tasted basboosa, you know it melts in your mouth — and this little girl will melt your heart the same way. She's gentle, affectionate, and has a soft, loving nature that shines through despite her rough start. Basboosa is still young, playful, and ready to bond deeply with someone who will never let her down again. She deserves more than temporary shelter — she deserves warmth, safety, and a family who will cherish her. If you're looking for a companion who is as sweet as she is resilient, Basboosa is waiting for you. Give this little girl the happy ending she's been hoping for All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Potential adopters for our Persian cats need to have prior Persian cat experience as they need to be well cared for. Grooming, dental, and veterinarian exams are done once a year, and a good quality brand of cat food such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, or Purina Pro plan is the upper tier level with a black label. We are a rescue and get what we get in terms of cats in need of a home. In no way do we work with breeders or buy the cats from the Friday markets so we can put them up for adoption as a rescue. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application. NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten.
