Chewy
AvailableChewy is an adult, medium-sized mixed-breed dog (Beagle/Mountain Cur) who is not yet neutered and is currently not house trained. His vaccinations are up to date, and he’s settling in at Seth, WV after a difficult start to life. Chewy gets along well with dogs and is gentle around teens and adults, though he is most comfortable in a calm environment.
About Chewy
Chewy is learning what it’s like to be part of a family after spending his whole life on a chain. He’s dog friendly and really shows his best side with other dogs around—they help him feel safer and more at ease. Chewy enjoys affection and likes attention from kids, though rowdy, energetic young children make him nervous and shy. He feels much more confident with teens and adults who move calmly and can offer encouragement. Chewy’s still a bit timid and always appreciates reassurance. He’s getting the hang of things and is slowly learning to trust that people are here to love him, not hurt him. He’s not house trained yet but has made progress since arriving at the rescue. Chewy is up to date on his vaccines but has not yet been neutered. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
