We'd give up anything for Iris. Iris is such a loving, gentle girl. Rescued as a lost dog, we don't know what her life looked like before coming to the shelter, but we're determined to make sure the rest of her story only goes up from here. About 2 years old and a petite 40 pounds, Iris is the perfect "lap dog sized" companion if you ask us. Iris is a fantastic dog, her sweet and affectionate personality really shines. She happily sits in the car with our staff during outings, eagerly accepting treats while soaking up all the kisses and cuddles her heart desires. Iris is also treat motivated and already knows how to sit for snacks, which means she has great potential to keep learning with someone willing to continue her training. Like every shelter dog, Iris is simply hoping for the basics: a soft bed to sleep in, a full belly, and a loving home to call her own.
