Fleetwood and his siblings were rescued from an abandoned camper that was sealed up with no air conditioning on. In addition to being closed up in a metal structure in mid 80's temperatures, these poor babies also had parvovirus. Not a very good start to their lives! After much medication, hand feeding, IV's, special food, medicated baths and extreme isolation protocol with special disinfectants, the tide finally turned for these little ones. All were adopted. However, Fleetwood recently came back because the landlord would not allow bulldogs. Fleetwood does not appear to have had a lot of training. He doesn't know how to walk on a leash, and is still very timid. This means Fleetwood will need a very special adopter with lots of compassion and patience. His adopters did have lots of nice things to say about him, so we believe he will blossom in a permanent home. Fleetwood is housebroken and does well with other dogs, which is a plus!
