About Foxey

Meet Foxey! If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a truly unique look, Foxey might just be your perfect match! This handsome boy is about 10 months old and appears to be a Spitz-type mix (with maybe some Chow?), with a stunning red coat that makes him stand out wherever he goes. At around 25/30 pounds, Foxey is likely to stay in the small-to-medium range once fully grown—he’s already close to his adult size, so what you see is pretty much what you get! Foxey is the definition of gentle and loving. He can be a little timid at first when meeting new people or experiencing new environments, but give him a little time and patience and he blossoms into the sweetest companion. Once he’s comfortable, he’s incredibly affectionate—he’ll happily seek out pets and lean in close for love. Foxey would absolutely thrive with another doggy sibling to help build his confidence and give him a built-in best friend. He really enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best in a home where he’s not alone. Foxey is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered! He is heartworm negative, too! If you’re ready to open your heart to a kind, gentle soul with a one-of-a-kind look, Foxey is ready to meet you! +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://www.stmuttsrescue.com/adoption-application +++++++ Foxey is currently in foster care in Texas and will be transported to his approved adoptive family. +++++++ The Truth About Rescue: Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued. +++++++ Once we receive your application, our team will review it and reach out to set up an interview with one of our volunteers. If you have any questions, please email SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com. Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both pets and families.
