Save me a spot on your couch! I’m Charly Belle, a 5 year old, 45 pound English Bulldog with a sweet, easygoing personality and just the right amount of sass. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, so I’ve got the basics down. I also know “sit” and get very excited when I realize I’m going for a car ride. I get along well with other dogs and older kids, but I’d probably be happiest as your one-and-only or with just one calm male dog. When there are a lot of dogs around, it can take me a little time to settle in, but I do adjust. I could live in a house with a fenced yard or even an apartment—as long as I’ve got my people nearby, I’m happy. I’ll let you know when I need to go out by heading to the door. I’m a pretty balanced girl—I’ll have little bursts of energy, maybe play with my chew toys, and then I’m right back to lounging and relaxing. My favorite things are head and ear scratches, being near my people, and FOOD. Food is life, and I’m not exactly the daintiest eater—mealtime can get a little messy. I’d do best with a family who’s home more often than not, because I really just want to be part of your everyday life. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who’s equal parts silly and snuggly, I’m your girl.
