About Walter

Walter is a very special little guy who knows what it means to be deeply loved. Sadly, health challenges forced his previous family to surrender him. Now, we’re hoping to find someone who will cherish him just as much. This sweet gentleman loves bath time, wearing pajamas, snuggling, and being carried around. Walter is blind, and his previous owner read him bedtime stories, sending along his book collection in hopes the new family would continue this tradition. He enjoys stroller rides and exploring the outdoors through smells and sounds. Walter does well with other dogs but doesn’t seek out their companionship. A quieter home would be ideal for him. He also takes heart medication, which can be a bit pricey, so his new family must be prepared for that ongoing commitment. Most importantly, Walter needs someone with plenty of time and love. He wants to feel safe and included in everyday life. With a special senior adoption fee, Walter is ready to find his forever home. Could it be yours?
