He absolutely lives for running around, playing, and soaking up all the pets and snuggles he can get from his favorite people! While he can be a little unsure when loud sounds pop up outside, he bounces back quickly and doesn't let it stop his fun for long. On his walks, Willie is a total star—he feels most comfortable when walking with another dog but loves to explore and get in plenty of sniffing. He's the kind of dog who just wants to enjoy the moment with you, whether that's exploring the world or curling up for some affection. He's a total sweetheart! The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you'll need a simple questionnaire filled out. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
