This handsome guy is about 2–3 years young and may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a minute, and you’ll see just how sweet he truly is. Once he feels safe, Sheriff leans right into affection and happily soaks up all the pets you’re willing to give. Sheriff gets along well with other cats and would likely enjoy a feline friend. He hasn’t met dogs yet, so we’re not sure how he feels about them. He would do best in a calm, quieter home where he can relax and be his gentle self - busy, rambunctious kiddos just aren’t his style. Sheriff came to us after being abandoned alongside three other cats, but don’t worry, they’re now safe and receiving the care they deserve. And yes... his eyes really are that green. Sheriff’s adoption fee is $145.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only. Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian. Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.
