Stella is a beautiful 4-year-old, 65 pound, white German Shepherd (born on Christmas Day) with a big, goofy personality and an even bigger heart. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and very people-oriented. She loves being close to her people, is the best snuggler, and does amazing with adults and kids of all ages. Stella is a high-energy girl who thrives with activity. She loves walks, running, playing in water, and being outside. She would do best with an active home that can give her the exercise and structure she needs. She is well-trained and knows commands like place, sit, and wait. She is kennel trained, leash trained, e-collar trained, and house trained. She rides well in the car and settles nicely in the home when her exercise needs are met. She does great at the vet and groomer and has never shown food or human aggression. Stella is not generally aggressive and does well around other dogs in controlled settings like walks, the vet, and the groomer. She can also coexist calmly in a home setting much of the time. Her challenge is with high-excitement situations (like toys or sticks), where she can become overstimulated and redirect onto another dog. Unfortunately, she is needing to be rehomed due to repeated fight incidents with another female dog in the home. Because of this, she will need to be the only pet in the home, or with a very experienced handler.
