This handsome male kitten, born 5-13-25, has beaten the odds as the runt of his litter. He is now looking for a loving home with a special adopter that will cherish him forever. Brave Bear was born into a litter of six kittens, and he is the last to find his happily ever after. We are looking for a compassionate and special adopter for this resilient and sweet little guy. He has some chronic medical needs and hopes to find someone that is comfortable with monitoring him. He had a respiratory infection at a very young age and had recurrent symptoms of nasal congestion that required several rounds of antibiotics. NAWS was able to get him a CT scan and he has had a rhinoscopy procedure to repair his nasal sinus problems. He is feeling much better and is not currently on any medication, but he may exhibit signs of nasal congestion at times going forward. Brave Bear needs an understanding and compassionate adopter that will love him regardless - he will need someone willing to monitor him for worsening in his congestion and giving him antibiotics from time to time if necessary. His foster stated that he is very tolerant of taking medication. Give this sweet boy the extra attention and care he needs, and he will repay you many times over with his love! He is outgoing and loves to be around people, including children, and other cats. He would love to have a kitty companion in his forever home, but could also live as a solo kitty if given plenty of love and attention. Brave Bear loves to bird watch in the morning. He has been raised in a busy foster home with other cats - his foster family thinks he is wonderful and you will too! Do you have a home where this darling boy can thrive? This is what rescue is all about - taking a kitten that had a rough start in life and giving him the world. He will become an incredibly devoted and grateful companion. Please be his hero!
