Meet Paisley! Paisley is a 10-year-old Shiba Inu weighing 27 pounds. She is a sweet but timid girl who may need a little time and patience to warm up to new people. With a calm and understanding home, she has the potential to build trust and show her gentle, affectionate side. Paisley gets along well with other dogs and may enjoy their company, especially as she adjusts to a new environment. At this time, Paisley will require a securely fenced yard to help keep her safe while she settles in and gains confidence. A required in-person meet and greet is necessary to ensure a proper fit for both the canines and the family. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
